The Keats Walk
If you're looking to be inspired and feel truly at one with nature, then why not try Keats' Walk in Winchester? You'll be walking in Keats's very footsteps through the landscape that inspired 'To Autumn'.
If you visit the tourist information centre in Winchester first of all, you'll be able to pick up a leaflet (for a very small charge) which guides you through the walk. The round trip is about 2 miles through lovely countryside, starting around Winchester Cathedral and finishing at the Hospital of St Cross.
Keats Guided Walk
You can now go on a guided Keats walk. It tells the
story of Keats's extraordinary life as you walk around Hampstead
with readings from his poetry and letters.
It is organised in conjunction with Keats House, and entrance to the house
is free on the day for walkers.
Full details are available on the Keats House website.
It can also be found on the Poetry Library website, which includes a testimonial from
someone who attended the walk recently.
